Sinopsis

Dalam dunia pendidikan matematika, kesalahan siswa sering kali dianggap sebagai akibat dari kurangnya latihan atau ketidaktelitian semata. Namun, apa yang terjadi jika kesalahan tersebut sebenarnya berpola dan berakar dari cara berpikir yang keliru namun sistematis?
Buku "Teori Berpikir Degeneratif" hadir mengupas tuntas fenomena kognitif di mana seseorang cenderung melakukan overgeneralisasi—menerapkan sebuah konsep, rumus, atau strategi matematika yang valid pada satu situasi ke situasi lain yang sebenarnya sama sekali tidak tepat. Alih-alih menghasilkan solusi, pola pikir deduktif yang dipaksakan ini justru mengalami kemunduran fungsi atau degenarasi, yang menjebak pembelajar dalam kekeliruan yang berulang.

Biografi Penulis

Dr. Rahma Wahyu, S.Pd., M.Pd, Universitas Wisnuwardhana Malang

Rahma Wahyu merupakan nama dari penulis yang unik. Mengapa unik? Sebab nama ini merupakan nama perempuan yang tidak sengaja dipakai penulis karena kesalahan penulisan ijazah mulai SD. Nama lahir penulis Rama Wahyu Djatmico, tetapi dikarenakan kesalahan penulisan diijazah tersebut membuat nama Rahma Wahyu melekat hingga saat ini. Penulis lahir di Malang pada tanggal 30 Maret 1990 dari pasangan Bapak Admanu dan Ibu Jumaroh sebagai anak kedua sekaligus pertama dari tiga bersaudara. Kakak dan adik dari penulis sudah berpulang lebih dahulu ke hadirat Allah SWT bernama Ifa Windri Zulfana (alm) dan Putri Rokhimatul Azizah (alm).

Penulis menempuh pendidikan formal di SD Negeri Torongrejo 03 (Lulus tahun 2002), SMP Negeri 03 Batu (Lulus tahun 2005), SMA Negeri 02 Batu (Lulus tahun 2008), S1 Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) (Lulus tahun 2012), Magister Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) (Lulus tahun 2015), kemudian menempuh S3 Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) (Lulus Tahun 2023). Penulis saat ini merupakan dosen S1 Pendidikan Matematika dan Magister Pendidikan Matematika di Universitas Wisnuwardhana Malang.

Penulis membuat karya berupa buku diantaranya sebagai berikut: (1) Basis Data My-SQL (2020) Penerbit Zahra Publisher; (2) Kalkulus Integral dan Aplikasinya (2020) Penerbit Zahra Publisher; (3) Matematika Diskrit untuk Pendidikan (2018) Penerbit Wineka Media. Selain itu, penulis juga membuat karya berupa artikel yang di publikasikan diantaranya sebagai berikut:
