Inovasi teknologi memberikan peluang harapan hidup lebih besar didunia Kesehatan, salah satunya adalah pencegahan hiportemi pada bayi baru lahir. Pencegahan hipotermi sangat penting untuk meningkatkan angka harapan hidup bayi baru lahir.
Buku berjudul Baby Cloth Warmer: Pencegahan Hipotermi pada Bayi Baru Lahir ini ditulis dan disusun sebagai manifestasi penanganan pencegahan hipotermi pada bayi baru lahir diruang bersalin. Salah satu pencegahan hipotermi tersebut adalah penggunaan microcontroller open source yang dapat diakses dan biaya terjangkau untuk mengatur kestabilan suhu pada Baby Cloth Warmer, dengan sumber daya yang terjangkau dapat tersedia di fasilitas layanan kesehatan primer seperti praktik mandiri bidan. Upaya pencegahan dini dalam tatalaksana penanganan hipotermi dapat menjadi solusi. Penulis menyadari bahwa peningkatan kualitas layanan kesehatan akan berjalan berdampingan dengan ilmu pengetahuan, inovasi dari peneliti serta kerja nyata di tempat praktik kesehatan. Semoga buku ini membawa manfaat dan dampak nyata pada pelayanan kesehatan terutama pada pencegahan hipotermi bayi baru lahir di Indonesia.
