Sinopsis

Intelektual semata, tetapi menjadi cahaya penuntun dalam praktik pendidikan sehari-hari. Buku berjudul Filsafat Pendidikan: Historis, Teoritis dan Praksis ini dirancang untuk menjembatani jurang antara pemikiran filsafat yang bersifat teoritis dan kebutuhan nyata di dunia pendidikan yang menuntut solusi aplikatif. Dalam praktiknya, banyak guru dan mahasiswa pendidikan merasa kesulitan untuk mengaitkan konsep-konsep filsafat pendidikan dengan dinamika pembelajaran di ruang kelas. Maka dari itu, buku ini tidak hanya menyajikan tokoh dan teori, tetapi juga bagaimana gagasan filosofis tersebut dapat diterjemahkan dalam konteks nyata pendidikan masa kini.

Isi buku terbagi ke dalam empat bagian besar. Bagian pertama memaparkan warisan pemikiran dari filsuf-filsuf besar zaman klasik dan pertengahan seperti Socrates, Plato, Aristoteles, Augustinus, dan Thomas Aquinas. Bagian kedua mengupas tiga aliran besar dalam teori pendidikan: idealisme, realisme, dan pragmatisme. Bagian ketiga menjadi inti aplikatif dari buku ini. Bagian terakhir, penutup, merangkum keseluruhan pemikiran dan menegaskan pentingnya mengintegrasikan filsafat dalam pembangunan pendidikan masa depan.

Manfaat buku ini sangat luas dan menyentuh berbagai kalangan. Bagi guru dan praktisi pendidikan, buku ini menjadi panduan untuk memperdalam landasan berpikir dalam mengambil keputusan pedagogis. Bagi mahasiswa dan akademisi, buku ini adalah rujukan penting yang menyatukan teori dan praktik dalam satu kesatuan utuh. Bagi masyarakat umum yang memiliki kepedulian terhadap dunia pendidikan, buku ini menjadi pintu masuk yang komunikatif untuk memahami kompleksitas pendidikan dari kacamata filsafat. Akhir kata, penulis menyampaikan harapan agar buku ini tidak hanya dibaca, tetapi juga direnungkan, didiskusikan, dan diaplikasikan dalam ruang-ruang pendidikan kita. Karena sesungguhnya, pendidikan sejati adalah praksis filosofis yang membebaskan, mencerahkan, dan memanusiakan manusia.

Biografi Penulis

Andy Ariyanto, A.P.,S.Pd.,Gr.,M.Pd., Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta

Andy Ariyanto, A.P.,S.Pd.,Gr.,M.Pd., dilahirkan di Kartasura Kabupaten Sukoharjo Propinsi Jawa Tengah pada tanggal 22 Januari 1984. Penulis menempuh pendidikan Diploma Manajemen Informatika di STMIK AMIKOM Yogyakarta, S1 Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris di Universitas Slamet Riyadi Surakarta dan Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar di Universitas Terbuka, Pendidikan Profesi Guru di Universitas Negeri Manado, S2 Pendidikan Dasar di Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta dan S3 Pendidikan di Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang.

Penulis saat ini adalah seorang Guru di SD Negeri Pabelan 03 Kec. Kartasura. Selain itu penulis juga pernah menjadi aktor dalam Program Pendidikan Guru Penggerak sejak tahun 2022- 2024 sebagai Pengajar Praktik dan Fasilitator. Penulis juga aktif sebagai Guru Pamong dan Praktisi di Pendidikan Profesi Guru Dalam Jabatan & Prajabatan Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta.

Penulis sudah menjadi pendidik selama 18 tahun dan telah memiliki puluhan artikel yang terbit di Jurnal nasional. Penulis juga menjadi narasumber dalam kegiatan berbagi praktik baik, webinar, seminar dan workshop bidang Pendidikan yang diselenggarakan oleh Komunitas – Komunitas belajar, Lembaga Pendidikan dan organisasi kemasyarakatan.

Dengan semangat pantang menyerah dan komitmen tinggi terhadap pendidikan, Penulis mengusung moto hidup “Urip Iku Urup” yang merupakan filosofi bahasa Jawa yang artinya hidup itu nyala. Maknanya adalah bahwa hidup ini selayaknya harus memberikan manfaat bagi orang lain di sekitar kita.

Revisika, S.Pd.,M.Pd., STKIP Muhammadiyah Manokwari

Revisika,S.Pd.,M.Pd., dilahirkan di Air Kandis Kabupaten Empat Lawang Propinsi Sumatera Selatan pada tanggal 04 Oktober 1985. Penulis menempuh pendidikan, S1 Pendidikan Biologi di Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang dan, S2 Pendidikan Biologi Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu dan sekarang sedang menempuh studi lanjut S3 Pendidikan di Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang.

Penulis saat ini adalah seorang Dosen di STKIP Muhammadiyah Manokwari dari 2016- Sekarang sekaligus guru SMA Muhammadiyah Conservasi Manokwari. Selain itu penulis juga pernah menjadi Asesor BanSM sejak tahun 2018- 2020, Penulis juga aktif sebagai pengurus Persyarikatan Pimpinan daerah Aisyiah.

Penulis sudah menjadi pendidik selama 9 tahun dan telah memiliki puluhan artikel yang terbit di Jurnal nasional dan inter nasional maupun bersinta.

Prof. Dr. Joko Widodo, M. Si, Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang

Prof. Dr. Joko Widodo, M. Si lahir di Ngawi pada 7 Juli 1962. Beliau telah mengabdikan diri sebagai dosen Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia di Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang sejak tahun 1986, setelah sebelumnya mengajar di SMA Muhammadiyah 7 Malang dan IKIP Budi Utomo Malang. Gelar pendidikan tertinggi yang diraihnya adalah doktor dalam bidang Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia dari Universitas Negeri Malang.

Selama masa kuliah S1 di IKIP Negeri Malang (kini Universitas Negeri Malang/UM), beliau aktif dalam berbagai kegiatan kemahasiswaan, termasuk Senat Mahasiswa, Karate, Pramuka, Teater, serta menjadi anggota Himpunan Mahasiswa Penulis (HMP) angkatan pertama. Dalam jabatan struktural, Prof. Joko telah memegang berbagai peran penting, seperti Sekretaris Prodi, Kaprodi, Pembantu Dekan III, Kepala Bagian Penalaran dan Minat, Kepala Biro Kemahasiswaan, Kepala Lembaga Pengabdian Masyarakat, Pembantu Rektor III selama dua periode, Asisten Khusus Rektor Bidang Perencanaan dan Pengembangan Kemahasiswaan (hingga sekarang/2024), serta anggota BPH Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang.

Di luar jabatan struktural, beliau juga aktif dalam berbagai tugas dan organisasi lainnya. Beberapa kontribusinya meliputi menjadi tim reviewer Balitbang Kabupaten Malang (2002-2003), Pimpinan Redaksi koran "Bestari", anggota tim pokja OKK Dikti untuk Rakornas Bidang Kemahasiswaan, Ketua Pelaksana PIMNAS XIX di UMM (2006), Koordinator Perguruan Tinggi penerima beasiswa TPSDP se-Jatim II, Koordinator Paguyuban PR3 Rayon Malang Barat, Wakil Ketua APTISI Wilayah VII Rayon IV, dan Deputi Bidang Kemahasiswaan BKS-PTIS.

Prof. Joko telah menghasilkan beberapa karya Ilmiah meliputi berbagai jurnal, laporan penelitian, tulisan bersama, serta editor buku sastra. Beberapa karyanya antara lain "Penelitian dan Pengembangan Kecamatan Rawan Kabupaten Blitar" (1986-1987) yang merupakan hasil kerja sama Bangdes Kabupaten Blitar dengan UMM; "Analisis Sajak-sajak Peduli Bangsa di Harian Umum Republika Edisi Mei-Juli 1998"; "Karakteristik Pedalangan Ki Nartosabdo" (2000); "Peningkatan Kemampuan Mengembangkan Gagasan dalam Menulis Wacana Ilmiah dengan Pendekatan Kontekstual untuk Mahasiswa Prodi Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia UMM" (2004); serta "Model Pembelajaran KTM (Kreatif, Terampil, dan Mandiri) Berbasis Lingkungan Sosial dalam Pembelajaran Menulis Kreatif" (2019).

Di berbagai forum ilmiah, Prof. Joko sering diundang sebagai pemateri pelatihan. Beberapa kontribusi dalam seminar antara lain Workshop Penulisan Karya Tulis Ilmiah bertema "Guru Profesional sebagai Kunci Pemerataan Mutu Pendidikan Berkarakter di Indonesia" (2017), Workshop Penyusunan Rencana Strategi dan Rencana Induk Pengembangan Perguruan Tinggi Muhammadiyah yang terakreditasi "A" di UMY Majlis Pendidikan Tinggi Dikti Litbang PP Muhammadiyah (2018), Pembinaan Corporate Culture Dosen Muda FIKES-UMM (2019), hingga pelatihan bidang kemahasiswaan seperti PP-OPPEK L2Dikti Jawa Timur pada tahun 2019. Selain itu, beliau juga memiliki berbagai sertifikat Hak Kekayaan Intelektual (HAKI) atas karya-karyanya, seperti "Model Pembelajaran KTM Berbasis Lingkungan Sosial dalam Pembelajaran Kreatif Siswa SMA" (2019), "Nasionalisme bagi Generasi Milenial" (2020), "Model Kajian Memori dalam Studi Sastra" (2021), serta "Ekologi Sosial dalam Pembentukan Nasionalisme Generasi Milenial" (2021).

Prof. Dr. H. Tobroni, M. Si., External Examiner di University of Malaya (UM)

Prof. Dr. H. Tobroni, M. Si. adalah seorang guru besar tetap dalam bidang Filsafat Pendidikan Islam dan pernah menjabat sebagai Dekan (UMM) pada periode 2017-2021. Beliau lahir di Blitar pada tahun 1965, berasal dari keluarga kyai sederhana, yaitu KH. Ahmad Sahli Fakultas Agama Islam (FAI) Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (alm) dan Nyai Mutiah (alm). Pendidikan doktoralnya diraih di UIN Negeri Yogyakarta pada tahun 2005, dan gelar guru besar diperoleh pada tahun 2009 ketika beliau berusia 43 tahun.

Pengalaman akademiknya mencakup berbagai sertifikasi internasional seperti Methodology of Arabic Teaching dari Leipzig University, Jerman (2003); Education System in Europe dari Hamburg University, Jerman (2003); dan Higher Education Leadership and Management dari McGill University, Kanada (2006). Pada tahun 2008, beliau menjadi Research Fellow di Centre for Civilizational Dialogue, University of Malaya, Malaysia, serta menjabat sebagai Visiting Professor di universitas yang sama pada periode 2009-2010. Selain itu, beliau juga aktif dalam kegiatan akademik dan kolaborasi dengan berbagai universitas di negara-negara seperti Jerman, Kanada, Malaysia, Australia, Singapura, Thailand, Arab Saudi, Tiongkok, Vietnam, Kamboja, India, Jepang, dan Brunei.

Prof. Tobroni telah menghasilkan berbagai karya tulis berupa buku. Beberapa di antaranya adalah: *Al-Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan I dan II* (1991-1992), *Islam Pluralisme Budaya dan Politik* (1994), *Pendidikan Islam: Paradigma Teologis, Filosofis dan Spiritualitas* (2007, 2015), *The Spiritual Leadership: Pengefektifan Organisasi Noble Industri Melalui Pendekatan Spiritual Etis* (2005, 2010), *Percepatan Peningkatan Mutu Pendidikan* (2007), *Pengembangan Mutu Perguruan Tinggi: Lesson Learn dari Perguruan Tinggi Terbaik Dunia* (2008), *Metodologi Penelitian Sosial-Agama* (2003), *Rekonstruksi Pendidikan Agama untuk Membangun Etika Sosial dalam Kehidupan Berbangsa dan Bernegara* (2010), hingga *Pendidikan Agama Multikultural* (2023). Beliau juga telah menerbitkan berbagai artikel di media massa, majalah, dan jurnal.

Selain berkontribusi melalui tulisan, beliau aktif sebagai asesor BAN PT dan LAMDIK sejak 2007 hingga sekarang. Prof. Tobroni juga pernah menjadi Staf Ahli di Spiritual Capital Management (SCM) PT Telkom Pusat (2012-2016) dan tergabung dalam PP Muhammadiyah Majelis Diktilitbang sejak 2010. Beliau adalah dosen pengajar di program doktoral beberapa perguruan tinggi, External Examiner di University of Malaya (UM) dan Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) Malaysia, serta external assessor di International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). Selain itu, beliau turut mendirikan dan aktif dalam Association Muslim Community ASEAN, menjadi anggota MUI Kota Malang, BPH di STITM Tanjung Redep Berau, serta UM Ponorogo.
