PENDIDIKAN ENTREPRENEURSHIP: (Mendorong Inovasi dan Kreativitas Kewirausahaan Generasi Muda Indonesia)

Indonesia merupakan sebuah negara dengan jumlah penduduk terbesar keempat di dunia, dengan populasi lebih dari 270 juta jiwa (BPS, 2020). Dengan kondisi tersebut, Indonesia merupakan negara yang menjanjikan bagi pasar global, apalagi mayoritas penduduk diisi generasi muda. Sayangnya, kemiskinan dan pengangguran masih menjadi masalah yang terus menghantui pemerintah. Oleh karena itu, melakukan akselerasi untuk mewujudkan kesejahteraan masyarakat, dan mendorong Indonesia menuju negara maju merupakan pilihan strategis yang harus segera dilakukan. Banyak ahli menyatakan bahwa entrepreneurship (Kewirausahaan) merupakan cara jitu untuk mewujudkan sebuah negara melesat menjadi negara maju. Dengan jumlah pengusaha di Indonesia masih minim (3,4 persen), maka mendorong generasi muda Indonesia untuk mempelajari dan menggeluti dunia usaha merupakan solusi yang sangat tepat. Hal ini bisa dilakukan melalui pendidikan entrepreneurship untuk membekali siswa agar memahami dan belajar mencari peluang bisnis, mengelola risiko, dan berpikir kreatif dan inovatif. Selama ini pendidikan kewirausahaan di Indonesia belum memperoleh tempat yang memadai. Untuk mengenalkan entrepeneurship sejak dini, pendidikan kewirausahaan di sekolah-sekolah perlu menjadi perhatian. Pendidikan kewirausahaan bagi siswa sangat penting untuk mempersiapkan generasi muda agar memperoleh pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang diperlukan untuk memulai dan menjalankan bisnis, serta memberikan dorongan dan dukungan untuk memperkuat rasa percaya diri dan kreativitas mereka.
Buku ini sangat baik untuk dibaca oleh para guru, kepala sekolah dan madrasah, pengawas sekolah dan madrasah, dosen, mahasiswa dan siswa, dan pihak-pihak lain yang memberi perhatian pada isu-isu kewirausahaan. Menanamkan ide-ide kreatif sejak dini merupakan sebuah tantangan tersendiri bagi para pelaku pendidikan. Untuk itu, buku ini hadir dalam rangka memberikan pemahaman dan praktik bagaimana melakukan transfer pengetahuan dan keterampilan berwirausaha kepada para siswa, dan mendorong mereka agar menjadi pribadi yang kreatif dan inovatif sebagai bekal menyambut masa depan.
