Buku Transportasi Jalan dan Dinamika Perkotaan membahas keterkaitan erat antara perencanaan jaringan transportasi dan pembentukan struktur ruang kota dalam konteks pembangunan berkelanjutan. Selanjutnya, buku ini mengkaji prinsip-prinsip perencanaan jaringan transportasi, termasuk analisis permintaan perjalanan, integrasi tata guna lahan, serta pendekatan berbasis transit-oriented development (TOD). Berbagai studi kasus dari kota-kota berkembang dan maju disajikan untuk menunjukkan bagaimana kebijakan transportasi dapat mendorong pertumbuhan koridor ekonomi, mengurangi ketimpangan aksesibilitas, serta menekan dampak lingkungan.
