Sinopsis

Di tengah kemudahan akses teknologi, judi daring telah menjadi ancaman nyata yang menyasar individu pada fase emerging adulthood (usia 18–25 tahun). Masa transisi yang penuh ketidakpastian ini membuat dewasa muda rentan terjebak dalam ilusi keuntungan instan yang ditawarkan oleh algoritma digital.
Buku ini membedah bagaimana jeratan judi daring memicu akumulasi afek negatif—seperti kecemasan, stres, dan rasa bersalah—yang secara perlahan merusak kesehatan mental. Melalui tinjauan psikologis yang tajam, karya ini mengungkap merosotnya subjective well-being (kesejahteraan subjektif) para pelakunya; sebuah kondisi di mana kepuasan hidup dan kebahagiaan tergantikan oleh keterpurukan emosional dan finansial.
Sebuah pengingat krusial bagi akademisi, praktisi, maupun orang tua tentang mahalnya harga sebuah "pertaruhan" bagi masa depan generasi muda di era siber.

Biografi Penulis

Ikhwanul Walya Yuwono, S.Psi.,, Universitas Indonesia

Ikhwanul Walya Yuwono, S.Psi., merupakan lulusan Psikologi dari Universitas Indonesia yang menyelesaikan studinya secara tepat waktu dengan rekam jejak akademik dan organisasi yang kuat. Sejak sebelum lulus, ia telah menunjukkan orientasi karier yang jelas di bidang Human Resource, khususnya Talent Acquisition, dengan pengalaman profesional di perusahaan multinasional asal Jepang dan Singapura. Ia juga pernah menjalani program magang di PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), di mana ia terlibat langsung dalam proses rekrutmen dan pengelolaan kandidat, memperkuat fondasi praktisnya dalam dunia HR.

Saat ini, Ikhwanul berkarier di PT XLSMART Telecom Sejahtera Tbk. sebagai Talent Business Partner. Dalam peran ini, ia tidak hanya berfokus pada proses rekrutmen, tetapi juga memahami kebutuhan bisnis secara menyeluruh untuk memastikan keselarasan antara strategi perusahaan dan pengelolaan talenta. Pendekatannya cenderung strategis, melihat SDM bukan sekadar fungsi administratif, tetapi sebagai aset utama yang menentukan daya saing organisasi.

Selama masa perkuliahan, Ikhwanul juga aktif dalam organisasi mahasiswa dan menjabat sebagai Ketua Umum Majelis Permusyawaratan Mahasiswa Psikologi Universitas Indonesia pada tahun 2024. Posisi ini menuntutnya untuk mengelola dinamika politik organisasi, mengambil keputusan strategis, serta menjaga keseimbangan antara kepentingan berbagai pihak. Pengalaman ini secara langsung mengasah kemampuan kepemimpinan, komunikasi, serta ketajaman analisisnya dalam menghadapi kompleksitas manusia dan organisasi.

Dalam jenjang S1, Ikhwanul menulis skripsi berjudul “Hubungan Perilaku Berjudi Daring dengan Subjective Well-Being pada Emerging Adulthood.” Topik ini tidak dipilih secara kebetulan, ia melihat fenomena meningkatnya akses terhadap judi online sebagai isu yang sering diremehkan, padahal memiliki implikasi psikologis yang signifikan, terutama bagi individu dalam fase emerging adulthood (sekitar usia 18–25 tahun), yang sedang berada pada periode pencarian identitas, eksplorasi karier, dan pembentukan stabilitas hidup.

Dr. Dra. Sugiarti, M.Kes., Psikolog adalah akademisi dan praktisi psikologi yang saat ini berkiprah sebagai dosen di Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Indonesia, konselor di Klinik Satelit Makara Universitas Indonesia, serta Psychological Service Leader di CV InsanQ Psychological Service. Latar belakang pendidikannya mencakup Sarjana Psikologi dari Universitas Padjadjaran, Magister Ilmu Kesehatan Masyarakat dari Universitas Indonesia, dan Doktor Ilmu Psikologi dari Universitas Indonesia. Bidang keahlian dan minat riset yang ditekuni meliputi stres, optimisme, kesejahteraan psikologis, volunteering, serta hubungan kepribadian dengan distres psikologis.

Dalam perjalanan profesionalnya, Sugiarti aktif memadukan peran akademik, layanan psikologis, dan pengembangan masyarakat. Ia terlibat dalam organisasi profesi psikologi di tingkat nasional serta dikenal konsisten berkontribusi dalam pendidikan, pendampingan, dan penguatan layanan konseling. Dedikasinya di bidang akademik dan pengabdian juga tercermin melalui berbagai kegiatan sebagai narasumber pada tema kesehatan mental, etika praktik psikologi, trauma informed care, pencegahan perundungan, penguatan peran dosen pembimbing, serta dukungan psikososial bagi keluarga, pelajar, mahasiswa, dan komunitas.

Kontribusi ilmiahnya ditunjukkan melalui publikasi artikel pada jurnal nasional dan internasional serta penerbitan sejumlah buku di bidang konseling, psikologi positif, optimisme, dan tumbuh kembang anak. Selain aktif dalam kegiatan ilmiah, ia juga terlibat dalam berbagai program pengabdian masyarakat, termasuk skrining tumbuh kembang anak, peningkatan sensitivitas terhadap peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus, serta pelatihan psychological first aid dan layanan dukungan psikososial. Dengan kombinasi pengalaman akademik, praktik profesional, publikasi ilmiah, dan keterlibatan sosial yang luas, Sugiarti memiliki profil yang kuat sebagai pendidik, psikolog, konselor, penulis, dan narasumber yang mampu menjembatani kebutuhan dunia akademik dengan persoalan nyata di masyarakat.
