Synopsis

Buku ini menghadirkan gagasan segar tentang bagaimana sekolah dasar dapat menjadi laboratorium kehidupan bagi anak- anak. Melalui konsep Magang Mini, siswa diberi peran sederhana namun bermakna-seperti menjaga perpustakaan mini, membantu di kantin, merawat taman sekolah, hingga menulis laporan harian. Dari aktivitas kecil inilah lahir nilai-nilai besar. disiplin, tanggung jawab, kerja sama, kepedulian, dan kejujuran. Ditulis dengan perpaduan antara landasan akademik dan narasi inspiratif, buku ini menuntun guru, orang tua, dan praktisi pendidikan untuk memahami bahwa reward dan apresiasi bukan sekadar hadiah, melainkan sarana membangun karakter. Setiap bab menguraikan prinsip, strategi, kisah nyata, hingga refleksi praktis yang bisa langsung diterapkan di ruang kelas maupun di rumah.

Buku ini mengajak pembaca untuk melihat bahwa pendidikan yang sederhana pun bisa berdampak luar biasa. Akhirnya, buku ini menegaskan bahwa Magang Mini adalah investasi kecil dengan dampak besar. la adalah jembatan yang menghubungkan teori dengan praktik, sekolah dengan dunia nyata, dan anak-anak dengan masa depan mereka. Dari ruang kelas yang sederhana, kita sedang menyiapkan Generasi Emas Indonesia 2045: generasi yang tangguh, mandiri, dan berkarakter.

Author Biography

Ismail, Universitas Muhammadiyah Enrekang

Ismail, S.Pd., M.Pd. lahir di Pinrang, Sulawesi Selatan-Indonesia, pada 13 Mei 1976, dari keluarga petani yang sederhana namun menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai pendidikan. Meskipun berasal dari lingkungan yang terbatas secara ekonomi dan tidak selalu mendukung secara langsung dalam hal pendidikan, penulis menunjukkan semangat belajar yang luar biasa sejak usia dini. Setelah menyelesaikan pendidikan dasar dan menengah, ia melanjutkan studi di bidang Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris pada Program Sarjana di Universitas Muhammadiyah Parepare (UMPAR) dan berhasil meraih gelar S.Pd. pada tahun 2001. Semangatnya untuk terus berkembang membawanya melanjutkan studi Magister Pendidikan di Universitas Negeri Makassar dan meraih gelar M.Pd. pada tahun 2004, dengan fokus pada Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris.

Bergabung sebagai Dosen pada Program Sarjana Universitas Muhammadiyah Enrekang pada tahun 2015. Selama berkarir di akademik, tulisan yang dihasilkan dalam bentuk hasil-hasil penelitian telah diterbitkan dalam berbagai Jurnal Ilmiah nasional maupun internasional dan artikel ilmiah dalam proceeding, serta beberapa buku, seperti: Reading in professional context, Fundamental English conversation, Intensive reading for academic success, Membangun desa dengan kukis, IELTS Academic Speaking and Writing, A Paragraph Writing Through Project-Based Learning, Grammar, Modul Strategi Pengajaran Inklusif Sosial: Meningkatkan Stamina Literasi di Sekolah Dasar, Eco-Literacy Interaktif: Transformasi Perilaku Pro-Lingkungan Siswa SD untuk Dunia yang Berkelanjutan. Selain itu, karyanya dalam literasi siswa, seperti "Petualangan di Awan: Panduan Literasi Cloud untuk Anak", dan “Air Mata Katak Todan” telah menjadi tonggak penting dalam memperkenalkan anak-anak pada teknologi dan literasi digital, mempersiapkan mereka untuk masa depan yang semakin terhubung secara digital. Saat ini, fokus meneliti dan menulis buku tentang literasi, menunjukkan bahwa semangat untuk terus berkarya dan memberikan kontribusi positif dalam dunia pendidikan tidak pernah surut.
