Buku ini hadir sebagai kompas bagi para mahasiswa untuk menemukan kembali ketenangan hidup melalui dua pilar utama: Welas Diri dan pemenuhan Kebutuhan Psikologis Dasar. Kita akan diajak memahami bahwa untuk menjadi tangguh, kita tidak perlu selalu keras pada diri sendiri. Sebaliknya, belajar menjadi sahabat bagi diri sendiri di saat gagal adalah kunci untuk bangkit kembali.
Namun, perjalanan ini tidak dilakukan sendirian. Dukungan orang tua tetap menjadi fondasi yang tak tergantikan. Kehadiran kasih sayang dan penerimaan dari keluarga adalah energi yang memvalidasi perasaan kita, memberikan rasa aman, dan membantu kita memenuhi kebutuhan jiwa yang paling mendasar.
"Welas Diri dan Kebutuhan Psikologis Dasar" bukan sekadar buku bacaan, melainkan sebuah refleksi tentang bagaimana cinta dari keluarga dan kelembutan pada diri sendiri dapat bersatu menciptakan kebahagiaan yang utuh. Buku ini dipersembahkan bagi setiap mahasiswa yang ingin berdamai dengan tuntutan hidup, serta bagi orang tua yang ingin menjadi rumah yang paling nyaman bagi pertumbuhan buah hatinya.
