Rahayu Setiowati. S.H.

Rahayu Setiowati, S.H. adalah seorang pengusaha, pemimpin organisasi, sekaligus tokoh perempuan yang memiliki rekam jejak panjang dalam dunia jasa boga dan kepemimpinan di berbagai bidang. Ia merupakan Direktur PT. Topas Ayu Catering serta dipercaya menjabat sebagai Ketua Umum Asosiasi Perusahaan Jasa Boga Indonesia (APJI) selama dua periode berturut-turut, yaitu 2013–2019, dan kembali dipilih secara aklamasi untuk periode 2019–2024. Latar belakang pendidikannya sebagai Sarjana Hukum menjadi modal kuat dalam mengelola perusahaan serta menjalankan peran strategis di berbagai organisasi, dengan kemampuan menggabungkan aspek hukum, manajerial, dan inovasi dalam setiap kiprah yang dijalankannya.

Dalam perjalanan kariernya, Rahayu Setiowati aktif dan konsisten menapaki berbagai posisi penting di organisasi nasional maupun daerah. Ia pernah mengemban amanah sebagai Ketua Bidang Humas di Demono, Ketua Bidang Organisasi IWAPI DKI, Bendahara Umum IWAPI, hingga Bendahara Umum HIPPI dan Ketua Komisi C Bekasi Cerdas. Selain itu, ia juga berperan di tingkat lokal sebagai Ketua PKK RW 12 Kelurahan Bintara, Kota Bekasi. Dedikasinya semakin luas dengan menjadi anggota Kadin DKI, Wakil Ketua Umum Bidang Asosiasi Kadin Indonesia, Wakil Ketua Bidang Hukum di KOWANI, Ketua Bidang Hubungan Dalam dan Luar Negeri di APJI, pendiri sekaligus penasehat Asgeperindo, serta Wakil Ketua Umum bidang jasa boga di GIPI. Kiprahnya tidak berhenti di sana, karena ia juga memimpin WBK (Wanita Bekasi Keren) dan menjabat Waka 1 IKAL (Ikatan Keluarga Alumni Lemhannas) Komisariat Provinsi DKI.

Kiprah Rahayu Setiowati tidak hanya terbatas pada jabatan struktural, tetapi juga pada peningkatan kapasitas diri melalui berbagai seminar, workshop, dan lokakarya berskala nasional maupun internasional. Ia telah mengikuti pelatihan Hiperkes dan Keselamatan Kerja bagi Pengelola Jasaboga sejak tahun 1998, pendampingan teknis pengelolaan limbah industri, serta penerapan GMP dan HACCP di industri makanan. Pada level global, ia terlibat aktif dalam Thailand Halal Assembly tahun 2015 dengan tema “Halal Culture & Innovation with Halal Economy” di Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, serta menghadiri Halal World Summit di Bangkok pada tahun 2017. Keterlibatannya dalam berbagai forum tersebut memperkuat kontribusinya dalam meningkatkan standar mutu, inovasi, dan daya saing industri jasa boga Indonesia.

Komitmen untuk terus belajar dan mengasah keterampilan juga tercermin dalam riwayat pendidikan non-formalnya. Ia menempuh berbagai kursus di LPK Tata Boga Indonesia mulai dari tingkat dasar, mahir, hingga terampil pada tahun 2008, serta mengikuti pelatihan Hygiene dan Sanitasi Makanan tahun 2014. Dengan latar belakang ini, Rahayu Setiowati tidak hanya memahami aspek manajerial dan hukum, tetapi juga menguasai aspek teknis yang menunjang profesionalisme dalam industri jasa boga. Hal ini menjadikannya sosok pemimpin yang lengkap, mampu memadukan teori, praktik, dan pengalaman nyata di lapangan.

Atas dedikasi dan kontribusi yang telah diberikan, Rahayu Setiowati menerima berbagai penghargaan bergengsi, di antaranya Certificate of Recognition Outstanding ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs (2015) serta penghargaan 71 Indonesia Inspiring Women (2016). Prestasi ini semakin menegaskan kiprahnya sebagai perempuan inspiratif yang mampu membawa pengaruh positif, baik dalam dunia usaha, organisasi, maupun pemberdayaan masyarakat. Damaruci adalah founder sekaligus CEO Life Skill Intelligence Institute di bawah bendera PT. Cerdasinergi Solusi Indonesia. Lahir sebagai anak ketiga dari delapan bersaudara, ia tumbuh dalam keluarga sederhana yang mengajarkannya arti kerja keras dan ketangguhan sejak usia dini. Sejak SD hingga SMA, ia terbiasa menanggung beban hidup melalui berbagai pekerjaan seperti berjualan es mambo, menggembala kambing, menjadi buruh bangunan, hingga berdagang asongan. Perjalanan penuh keterbatasan itu justru membentuk fondasi karakter kuat yang kelak menjadi bekal dalam memimpin keluarga maupun organisasi.

Walau hidup serba terbatas, semangat belajar tidak pernah padam. Damaruci berhasil menembus pendidikan tinggi di Jurusan Kriminologi FISIP UI dengan biaya yang ia perjuangkan sendiri melalui beragam pekerjaan serabutan, seperti menjadi tenaga interviewer, penulis resensi buku, hingga membuka bisnis penyewaan VCD. Perjuangan ini tidak hanya mencerminkan ketekunan pribadi, tetapi juga memperlihatkan bahwa keberhasilan dalam pendidikan maupun hidup adalah hasil sinergi antara tekad, doa, dan dukungan keluarga. Nilai-nilai inilah yang kelak menjadi dasar pemikirannya dalam memandang keluarga sebagai organisasi pertama yang harus dikelola dengan penuh kesadaran.

Karier profesionalnya dimulai dari program Management Trainee di perusahaan retail nasional, di mana ia menjadi lulusan terbaik. Ia kemudian menduduki berbagai posisi strategis, mulai dari Internal Audit Officer hingga Assistant Training Manager, sebelum melanjutkan karier di perusahaan asing asal Belanda sebagai Training Section Head, dan di grup perusahaan Jepang sebagai HR Development Division Head. Perjalanan panjang ini memperkaya dirinya dengan wawasan manajemen, kepemimpinan, dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia, yang kemudian ia terapkan dalam dunia konsultan dan pelatihan di berbagai perusahaan besar, termasuk Pertamina, LKPP, KCIC, hingga Dapen PLN.

Di samping kiprah profesional, Damaruci tetap menempatkan keluarga sebagai pusat kehidupannya. Bersama sang istri, Emma Andhika Sari Lubis, ia membangun rumah tangga yang harmonis dengan empat orang anak: Binar Qalbu Cimuema, Pijar Qolbu Sahaja, Cahya Qolbu Syakur, dan Kilau Qalbu Rahmah. Baginya, pengalaman membesarkan anak-anak sambil mengelola karier dan pendidikan hingga meraih gelar magister di MM Trisakti dan doktoral di Manajemen SDM UNJ adalah bukti nyata bahwa sinergi suami istri adalah fondasi keberhasilan organisasi keluarga.

Kini, selain aktif sebagai dosen, asesor BNSP, ketua RT, ketua komite sekolah, dan anggota berbagai asosiasi, Damaruci juga mengelola usaha keluarga sebagai sumber penghasilan pasif. Kehidupan pribadinya bersama keluarga serta kiprahnya di dunia profesional menjadi inspirasi lahirnya buku ini.
