Synopsis

Di tengah meningkatnya tuntutan transparansi dan profesionalisme lembaga filantropi Islam, pengelolaan wakaf pesantren di Indonesia menghadapi tantangan besar: bagaimana mengubah aset tradisional menjadi kekuatan strategis yang produktif dan berkelanjutan. Buku ini hadir sebagai jawaban atas kebutuhan tersebut.
Melalui pendekatan Resource-Based View (RBV) dan Total Quality Management (TQM), buku ini mengupas secara mendalam bagaimana wakaf tidak sekadar menjadi instrumen ibadah, tetapi juga dapat dikelola sebagai sumber daya unggulan yang mampu menciptakan keunggulan kompetitif bagi lembaga pendidikan Islam. Dengan menggabungkan perspektif strategis dan kualitas, pembaca diajak memahami bagaimana tata kelola wakaf yang efektif dapat meningkatkan kemandirian finansial, kualitas pendidikan, serta dampak sosial pesantren.
Buku ini tidak hanya menyajikan konsep teoritis, tetapi juga praktik nyata pengelolaan wakaf produktif di Indonesia. Disertai analisis lintas negara seperti Mesir, Turki, dan Malaysia, buku ini memperluas wawasan pembaca tentang model-model inovatif pengelolaan wakaf di dunia Islam.
Buku ini menawarkan kerangka integratif yang aplikatif—menghubungkan nilai-nilai maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah dengan strategi manajemen modern. Hasilnya adalah sebuah panduan komprehensif bagi akademisi, praktisi, pengelola pesantren, hingga pengambil kebijakan dalam mengoptimalkan potensi wakaf sebagai pilar pembangunan umat.
Buku ini menegaskan satu hal: ketika wakaf dikelola dengan strategi yang tepat dan kualitas yang terjaga, ia bukan hanya menjaga tradisi—tetapi juga membangun masa depan.

Author Biography

inta Rahmi, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta

Dr. CINTA RAHMI, S.E., M.M., adalah Doktor dari Sekolah Pascasarjana UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta dengan predikat cumlaude pada awal tahun 2026. Cinta merupakan dosen muda yang aktif dalam bidang pengajaran, penelitian, dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di STIE Ganesha dan UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Komitmennya terhadap dunia pendidikan tumbuh sejak dini, dimulai dari Sekolah Dasar Negeri Cijeruk, Serang, Banten, lalu dilanjutkan di Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor, Jawa Timur. Jenjang pendidikan tinggi ia tempuh dengan penuh dedikasi. Cinta meraih gelar Sarjana Akuntansi (S1) dari Universitas Islam Asyafi'iah, Jakarta. Ia kemudian melanjutkan pendidikan Magister Manajemen (S2) di Universitas La Tansa Mashiro, Rangkasbitung, dan berhasil lulus sebagai mahasiswa terbaik. Terakhir, ia memperolah gelar Doktor Ekonomi Islam (S3) di UIN Jakarta. Dalam perjalanan kariernya, Cinta mengawali langkah profesional sebagai Accounting Finance di Hotel Mahadria, Serang, Banten (2014–2015), lalu bergabung sebagai Finance di Project Convey Indonesia (2018–2019). Sejak tahun 2020, ia mengabdikan diri sebagai dosen di STIE Ganesha dan UIN Jakarta. Selain mengajar, ia aktif sebegai peneliti pada The Political Literacy Institute. Ia juga aktif dalam bidang manajerial dan sosial, menjabat sebagai Bendahara LPPM STIE Ganesha sejak 2024 dan Ketua Koperasi Yasmin Pengurus Cabang Fatayat Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Kota Depok sejak 2022. Pengalaman internasional juga turut membentuk perspektif global Cinta. Ia telah mengunjungi berbagai negara seperti Malaysia, Singapura, Thailand, Korea Selatan, Jepang, dan Arab Saudi. Kecintaannya pada dunia traveling dan eksplorasi budaya baru menjadi bagian dari semangatnya dalam memperluas cakrawala ilmu dan pengalaman. Moto hidupnya, "Be the Best Part of You", menjadi refleksi dari prinsip hidup yang ia pegang: untuk senantiasa berkembang dan memberikan versi terbaik dari dirinya dalam setiap peran yang dijalani. Cinta juga dikenal aktif dalam bidang akademik. Ia menerima beasiswa dari Baznas RI untuk penyelesaian studi S3 di UIN Jakarta pada tahun 2025, serta beasiswa dari Yunus Emre Enstitusu untuk mempelajari bahasa dan budaya Turki pada 2021–2023. Ia juga mendapat penghargaan sebagai lulusan terbaik S2 Universitas La Tansa Mashiro pada 2018. Kiprah akademiknya ditandai dengan kontribusi dalam bentuk publikasi, antara lain delapan buku, sejumlah artikel di jurnal ilmiah terakreditasi SINTA, serta prosiding nasional dan internasional. Semua ini menjadi bukti komitmen Cinta Rahmi dalam memberikan kontribusi nyata bagi pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan masyarakat.
